PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Welcomed Visitors,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our web site.  With this new web site we will be bringing to our members the most up to date information on legislation,  education, equipment and law enforcement services.

The Fraternal Order of Police is the World's largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers with over 325,000 members.  No one knows the difficulties and dangers that face law enforcement officers better than another officer.

We are excited about our upcoming Active Shooter Conference in July of 2008.  This conference will be two days spent with those who have expierienced the unimaginable - the Active Shooter in the School.  Join us as we find out what worked for them and what they would like to see changed.  Talk with those who have studied the mind behind the action and, if you wish, bring your operating procedure sharing what you have in place or would like to change.  We invite all those law enforcement officers and security personnel who work with or respond to school situations - be it the small rural school or the largest university - there will be something for everyone.
